It has indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths, a buffet restaurant for breakfast and dinner, and mostly 10-tatami Japanese rooms, some with a garden and lake view, plus a twin with beds.
The baths open from 3pm to midnight and again from 5am to 9am, so you can soak before the first walk round Lake Yunoko. Guests on Expedia praise the setting and the onsen more than the food.
